Tool Library Celebrates Reopening May 20

Modcon Living will host a grand reopening of the Tool Library on Monday, May 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Join us to return tools, check out new tools, purchase previously donated tools at the Yard Sale, and reserve gas-powered tools.

The Tool Library has become an essential resource to communities throughout the Columbus area. We apologize for any inconvenience the temporary closure has caused and are committed to doing all we can to maintain this important program to sustain healthy homes and neighborhoods.

Tool Library Hours Beginning May 20, 2024

Tool Library hours have been expanded to better serve you.

• Tuesday and Friday – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Wednesday and Thursday – 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• Saturday – 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

• Sunday and Monday - Closed

Tool Library Memberships

Current Members

A 90-day membership extension will be provided for all Tool Library members who were active prior to the temporary closure.

New Members

All Tool Library membership applications submitted after March 1, 2024, will be activated by May 20.  

Volunteer Opportunities

We are currently seeking Tool Library volunteers who can help with electrical and small engine repairs. Visit our Volunteer page to sign up.
